    *frown

It's offical. The people who work at Columbai House are f*cking idiots. How long ago did I send that email? Not very. And yet, yesterday, I not only recieved ANOTHER stupid "exclusive club member offers" package in the mail, but a courtesy call as well. Luckily (for Columbia House) I was not at home to recieve the call, although I kinda wish I was; maybe this dilemma could be 'cleared up' by now. Apparantly I'm going to have to keep throwing out useless mail that I dont even open and dodging their phone calls. All I can say is: if they start sending me actual movies in the mail, Columbia House we soon be recieving a courtesy call.

    Dear "Columbia House",

I am having a problem as of late, it has a little something to do with a certain music/dvd club by the name of Columbia House. Raise your hand if you have heard of it. Yeah, that's what I thought. Now, if you are familiar with my previous 'space' you will perhaps recall that this is not my first problem with the oh so intelligent people working at this organization, and i'm sure that it will not be my last. I have been receiving call after call, and email after email and as of today, I received one of those stupid ass packages with the little magazines and "special offers for club members" in it. What is the problem you ask? Only this: I QUIT THE FUCKING CLUB! I would really like to know what kind of people do not understand "do not contact me". Actually, I take that back. I would really not like to know. But I WOULD really, really, like for them to stop. Therefore, in a rage, I wrote this:

    "Dear “Columbia House”,

There seems to have been a misunderstanding. When I quit the music and dvd club I made it very clear that I did not want to be contacted again about reactivating my membership. What I meant when I said that was, I did NOT want to be contacted again about reactivating my membership. Therefore I do NOT appreciate coming home to find out that I have been receiving phone calls from Columbia house. I do NOT appreciate getting emails from Columbia house. And I do NOT appreciate getting mail from Columbia House. Let me save you some time and paper by telling you right now what I would appreciate. I would appreciate it if you would stop contacting me regarding joining your club or regarding ANYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH IT. I do not want to be in the club and I’m not going to change my mind. Please do not contact me again for any reason. Thank you in advance.

p.s. you can cancel this membership number that was given to me for some unknown reason and kindly not assign me another one."

    *end of letter*

Do you think that this will help them to understand that I wasnt just 'joshing' them when I said I did not want to be in their club? Nooot likely. We'll see what happens next.....
